Self-employed web designer, drifting steadily into PHP/PostgreSQL development these last few years. Compulsive volunteer. Writer & artist when I have time, which isn't often enough. Longtime pagan/occultist (>25 years); preferred paradigms include Wicca, chaos magic, Otherworld exploration, spiritual therianthropy, Celtic paganism, and fairy lore of the non-cute kind.
Grad school dropout but still academically minded, and have been known to read books on postmodernism and quantum physics for fun. Prone to daydreaming, distraction and questioning authority and tradition. Somewhere between lesbian and bisexual, neutral on the polyamory/monogamy spectrum but currently in a poly triad. Musical/aesthetic tastes highly eclectic but gothic-leaning, particularly the ethereal/neomediaeval end of that spectrum. Shamelessly enjoy role-playing games and other age-inappropriate pursuits. Reside in Toronto with two cats, one dog, and for the moment, one soon-to-be-ex wife (![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kettunainen), one other partner (optimystik), and one baby.

Current aspirations:
Get separation from Kettu sorted out and deal with emotional and logistical aftershocks. Try to be a good mother to Aidan, even if I have to be a non-custodial one now. Finish the work I need to do to get my Odyssean second degree. Try and implement Getting Things Done. Continue trying to expand and improve my business. Start doing music again, in some form, somehow. Finish converting Wild Ideas, WCC and Wolf Moon web sites to Drupal. Try to continue current downward trajectory in weight. More lynx time. Finish outline for Wicca book and get into serious writing mode. Apply to the IOT's novitiate distance learning program. Go back to grad school and finish my MES. Win the lottery. Get more sleep.
Aspirations previously listed above, but now accomplished:
Lost 15 20 25 30 35 40 pounds. Actually interviewing potential new coven members on a semi-regular basis. Found OHIP-covered ADD specialist and got assessed (result: yes indeed, combined subtype). Getting more work in, to the point where I'm now having trouble keeping up with it. Spiritual malaise mostly abated. Getting good ideas for writing. Polyamory anxieties down to a dull roar.
